Two hikers were rescued Saturday after they got lost near Rattlesnake Ridge near North Bend.
King County Search and Rescue said the call came in around 2 p.m.
KSCO Marine Rescue was able to use a snowcat, a new vehicle given to them by the military, to rescue the two Seattle men, ages 22 and 28.
The rescue took two hours – without the snowcat it would have taken much longer.
The hikers were cold and wet but in good condition. The Sheriff’s Office said they were not prepared for a hike.
They were brought down at around 5:30 p.m.
