Snohomish County Tomorrow kicks off programs on Congestion Management

The public is encouraged to attend “Growth Trends in the Puget Sound Region,” a presentation being given by Paul Inghram, Puget Sound Regional Council, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.  Mr. Inghram will be speaking at 6:15 p.m. in Public Meeting Room #1 on the first floor of the Snohomish County Administration Building (3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett).  The presentation is sponsored by the Snohomish County Tomorrow (SCT) Steering Committee.

SCT is kicking off a year of educational programs that will examine the factors contributing to traffic congestion and the measures that cities, the county, the region, and the State are currently taking to address it. The focus will be on innovative, effective ways to ease congestion, as well as what other agencies, businesses and community members can do to help address congestion. The presentation on July 27, 2016, will cover the growth in population and employment that contributes to congestion.
