Winter Storm Watch

Issued by the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration

A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT

Heavy snow possible as two storm systems move across the area. The first system will move across the area Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, bringing the potential for 1 to 3 inches of new snow. Another system will move in quickly behind this system Monday and continue through Tuesday, bringing the potential for more significant snowfall. New snow accumulations Monday through Tuesday of 5 to 8 inches possible.

Travel could be very difficult to impossible given little recovery from previous snowstorm.

Areas affected:

Admiralty Inlet Area, Bellevue and Vicinity, Bremerton and Vicinity, Central Coast, East Puget Sound Lowlands, Everett and Vicinity, Hood Canal Area, Lower Chehalis Valley Area, North Coast, San Juan County, Seattle and Vicinity, Southwest Interior, Tacoma Area, Western Skagit County, Western Strait of Juan De Fuca and Western Whatcom County.
